Are You Ready To Shatter Your Inner Financial Ceiling?
I would like to talk to you today about those pesky inner ceilings that we all carry inside. They act as barriers that keep us from achieving our dreams and full potential.
Have you ever noticed when a thought about a limitation surfaces to your consciousness how often you distract yourself from thinking it? After all, who wants to be reminded of yet another reason why we are not playing in the big leagues?
I’m going to show you a simple five step exercise that will turn those heavy and difficult beliefs and emotions into financial gold.
First, take a few deep breaths and get comfortable. Tune into a goal that is alluding you. Perhaps you cannot reliably meet a particular revenue target, or you are having difficulty receiving a certain number of leads for your business.
Second, tune into your highest achievement in the area you want to work with. It could be your highest revenue for the month or the largest number of leads you have received. This is your inner ceiling.
Third, keeping your inner ceiling in mind, tune into your body and notice if you have any physical sensations related to stress or anxiety. Take a few deep breaths and give your body permission to communicate to you through its feelings. The key is to realize that the stronger the feelings of stress and pressure, the more your body will resist any attempts to move beyond your inner ceiling.
Fourth, place your right hand on your heart and your left hand on your abdomen. Breathing deeply, ask your body what is unsafe about moving beyond this set point and allow the message to float up to your consciousness. This knowledge is the financial gold I was referring to. Once you know this, you can take steps to move beyond this limitation.
Fifth, once your body has revealed its reason why success feels unsafe, keeping your right hand on your heart and left on your abdomen state either out loud or silently, even though my body feels unsafe achieving my goal of ___ because of ___ I deeply and completely love and accept myself. Continue breathing deeply as you repeat this phrase and give yourself as much time as your body needs to calm down. If you are familiar with tapping, it will be helpful to tap through the acupoints as you repeat this phrase. Either tap or deep breath until your physical sensations subside.
By following this simple 5 step exercise, you will dramatically reduced the resistance in your body to moving forward. It may take you a few attempts before you get to the crux of what is holding you back, so give yourself the time you need. Reducing even a little stress and resistance to achieving success will have a huge payoff, so do this exercise as often as you feel the stress.
